Each EraMED mission is backed by a team of skilled pilots, maintenance technicians and support crews. All of EraMED's dedicated professionals receive continuous training in their fields of expertise, including state-of-the-art flight simulator training, detailed emergency-procedures instruction and air medical resource management training.
EraMED's maintenance crews are continually trained to meet the high standards of EraMED and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). EraMED employs the best-trained maintenance crews to ensure the EraMED fleet is in the finest mechanical condition. EraMED also utilizes advanced diagnostic techniques, a comprehensive computerized inventory program for spare parts and a sophisticated record-keeping system.
In addition to EraMED's own regular safety evaluations, the Company actively solicits feedback from customers and hires third-party safety experts to closely scrutinize practices during inspections held on a random, unannounced basis.
